Optical fabrication lies at the very heart of our operation and plays a vital role in maintaining our position as a world leader in the field of optics. Every operation, from grinding, polishing and coating through to testing utilizes the most advanced technologies and processes.
ELCAN can offer over 700 production-approved coatings in our two high-capacity coating facilities. Coatings range from anti-reflective to selective band-pass and special hard carbon coatings for commercial and medical requirements.
With the addition of the Málaga facility in 2003, ELCAN expanded its capabilities to include advanced electronics. ELCAN Málaga added high quality and cost-effective complete EMS operations, optoelectronic integration, and improved access to European customers.
ELCAN offers its international customers high quality products. ELCAN also provides a whole project management service that is involved from concept to mass production.
From a comprehensive suite of computerized optical design and CAD programs in the engineering departments to complete optomechanical and optoelectronic testing capabilities, ELCAN is equipped with the most modern equipment to undertake both large-volume production and prototype quantities for conventional, state-of-the-art, and research programs.
